Postman Eagle Crest Stein

Stoneware, handpainted raised relief decoration with rose gold leaf accents. This stein pays tribute to the German Post, a major service playing a primary role in German history for the past century. The body of this stein presents the German Post Eagle Crest. Its majestic wings stretch almost entirely around the body of the stein, a trumpet rests around its neck against its breast, and it holds a parcel in one talon and a mail bag in the other. Underneath the handle is a ribbon reading, "Postmanns heil!" translated as, "Thank goodness for the postmen!" An antiqued conical pewter lid completes the piece.

Limited edition of 2,000 pieces.
