This new stein has a pewter lid.
This valuable collectible is a replica of an original stein taken from the archives of King-Werke in Germany and intricately handsculpted by Peter Duemler around 1870. It prominently features the bust of Minerva, the Goddess of War.
Scenes of the mythology of Minerva are portrayed on the helmet. Minerva is the daughter of Godfather Jupiter. She is the Goddess of Wisdom and of strategic, well-planned warfare.
She is also said to be the inventor of metal treatment, weaving technology, and of the carriage and plough. Her shield carries the Medusian head, which lets her turn enemies into stone.
The genuine pewter lid is ornately decorated in detailed relief. The pewter thumbrest is formed in the image of the messenger of Godfather Jupiter.
An original of this model artwork is on display in the British Museum in London.
This large 2 liter stein is about 14.25" tall.
